Only entries received between 12:00am 20 May to 12:00am 27 May 2019 will be accepted. An entry is made by entering the number of coders into our map on the event page.
Groups need to be coding in a single session and at a single location, but do not need to be a single organisation. Schools, clubs and community groups can join together to form a larger group!
Coding sessions must be for a minimum of five minutes. You can code whatever you want, but we've also put some beginner projects on the event page to help you out.
To be elegible for the competition, group counts must only include children 5 - 18 years old, and who identify as girls or non-binary children.
There are two prizes: 1) Largest single group coding, and 2) A general prize draw for all groups. Any group who meets the elegibility criteria above and participates will automatically be entered into the draw. Prizes to be comfirmed!
