Code Club 4 Teachers

Let us help you get ready for the new Digital Curriculum

Code Club 4 Teachers supports our kaiako through fun, hands-on learning to grow in confidence and prepare to teach the new Digital Technologies curriculum content within the Technology and Hangarau learning areas.

What does CC4T involve?

CC4T content is themed around popular classroom topics and learning areas. You can choose to deliver CC4T in a way that suits your school/kura.

A digital lead or teacher can run the content for your kaiako or we can come and facilitate sessions either face to face or in a webinar format.

CC4T covers how to integrate programming projects and computational thinking activities into fun hands-on sessions in the classroom. Kaiako will be well equipped, confident and able to integrate the revised Digital Technologies|Hangarau Matihiko curriculum that schools are expected to be delivering from 2020.

Is there a cost?

There is no cost involved with joining or participating in CC4T workshops.

How can I help my learning community embrace digital technologies?

CC4T sessions are run by teachers for teachers. Digital Technologies and Hangarau Matihiko is about helping students see their potential as creators of technology, not just users. CC4T is a great way to achieve this both for teachers, students, whānau and the wider community. As we build the use of and creating of technologies more and more people will be able to see the pathways in career options for our students and see how it is part of all our futures.

The CC4T workshops and learning resources provide your community with concrete examples of how to integrate the digital curriculum into their teaching practice.
